That makes it time to return to the nest and talk about Network-Attached Secure Disks (NASD), Object Storage Devices (OSD), and Panasas' pioneering scalable storage architecture.

BIO:
Garth Gibson is an associate professor in CSD and ECE at CMU, on leave, and chief technology officer for Panasas Inc., which he co-founded with ECE grad Bill Courtright.
