This may be true, but of course implementing RDMA over TCP faces the same basic problem of framing. That is why some of the same solutions (TCP option, urgent pointer, etc.) have been proposed in conjunction with TCP RDMA, independent of iSCSI. It seems clear that this thread is equally relevant to the TCP RDMA question. Jeff
