Without CmdSN or CRN you could not guarantee what simple tasks get into the queue before or after the ordered task. CRN is new and in an unfinished standard (SAM-2 r15). Therefore, I believe you need CmdSN ordering to handle "legacy" SCSI stacks that don't know this new feature. -Matt
