It is however probably a good idea to have the F bit se to one for consistency - and I will do that. Why don Æt we reserve bit 7 and use bit 4 instead and call it I-bit. In Section 2.4, the S-bit indicating Sense-data has similar meaning, i.e. data field after the basic header.
