    Absolutely.  The other problem with using the EUI-64+extra is that the
    naming authority is the OUI within the EUI, which does not hold for
    OUI-vs-reverse-DNS argument I stated earlier.  Also, since the EUI-64+
    extra is a binary address, it does not do a very good job of fulfilling
    the URN "human transcribability" requirement; the reverse-DNS has a
    chance to do this better.
    
    Rob- perhaps the IB folks would re-consider your proposal to use
    the iSCSI WWUI given these arguments?  My guess is that the people
    currently focussed on IB are the hardware/firmware folks, and that
    the higher-level software folks are not really involved yet to
    support what you had requested.
    
    If we could specify the size of the naming authority down to some
    smaller number (say 64+4 bytes "com.whatever64"), and specify that
    whatever comes after that fits in 128 bytes, it might be possible
    to get something a little smaller, even though it technically
    breaks the DNS name maximums.  I would also guess that IB only
    uses these when connecting to a SCSI device, and that these would
    not appear in normal command transport headers anyway.  Is that
    correct?
