The point of the iSCSI integrity check is not that to assume that underlying layers (the transport and/or security & integrity) have abdicated responsibility for end-to-end integrity. It is a trust, but verify model. In a suitably trustworthy [or suitably devious] environment you're wasting your time verifying. Steph
