Based on the PDU Template, the iSCSI PDUs consists of:
BHS
AHS's (optional)
Header Digest (optional)
Data Segment (optional)
Data Digest (optional)
Some of the individual command formats do not follow the PDU Template, or
imply that -both- the Header and Data Digests (if any) precede the Data
Segment:
SCSI Response:
BHS
Digests if any...
Data Segment (optional)
SCSI Response should be (similar to SCSI Command format and others):
BHS
Header Digest (if any, or optional)
Data Segment (if any, or optional)
Data Digest (if any, or optional)
Some other examples are:
SCSI Data-out PDU for WRITE operations (READ operation PDU format is ok).
Asyncronous Message
Text Request
Text Response
NOP-Out
NOP-In
Also for Header only iSCSI PDUs "Digests (if any)" should be changed to
"Digest (if any)" or "Header Digest (if any)":
Task Management Function Request

Robert J.
