To avoid spam, I think, most mailing lists do not forward mails from
non-subscribers.
If you are in doubt that your message was received you can simply repeat
the message to drop the session.
As a new session involves always new connections you are pretty safe.

How can the Target make sure that the Initiator receive the Asynchronous
Message PDU that was sent to drop the session (AsyncEvent = 3)? Can we use
the Nop-In PDU (pint) and check the expStatSN in the Nop-Out PDU? What
does the Target do if the Asynchronous Message PDU was lost? Thank you for
