We just have to make sure the iSCSI spec. does not prevent that. Keep in mind that this change (altering the throughput equation) requires modification of TCP's basic congestion control algorithm. It is *not* simply fixing up "old software implementations". Such a change will likely take quite a while to hammer out. Vern
