Why are these needed since the use of the digests is negotiated? 2. What should they be set to if one of the Kerberos digests are used? When a proprietary digest is used? Perhaps they could be changed to two one bit fields to indicate whether the digest is simply present or not. Also, I would also suggest inverting the meaning of the next header type bit (bit 7).
