I am going to send-out 05 today! Julo Steve Senum <ssenum@cisco.com> on 28/02/2001 01:23:38 Please respond to Steve Senum <ssenum@cisco.com> To: ietf-ips <ips@ece.cmu.edu> cc: Subject: iSCSI: WN Field (draft -04) Julian: Some questions on the WN field in draft -04. wrt. the bits used to encode the digest types on the header and/or data segment: 1. Why are these needed since the use of the digests is negotiated? 2. What should they be set to if one of the Kerberos digests are used? When a proprietary digest is used? Perhaps they could be changed to two one bit fields to indicate whether the digest is simply present or not. Also, I would also suggest inverting the meaning of the next header type bit (bit 7). Regards, Steve Senum
