The name change involves perhaps some other changes and It is consistent with the field usage in other PDUs (with a similar treatement) and I would suggest is stays as is. Julo sandeepj@research.bell-labs.com (Sandeep Joshi) on 25-07-2001 21:08:10 Please respond to sandeepj@research.bell-labs.com (Sandeep Joshi) To: Julian Satran/Haifa/IBM@IBMIL cc: Subject: iSCSI: minor editorial request Julian, Minor request.. The text for expDataSN/expR2TSN fields in SCSI response. (Sec 2.4.7 and Sec 2.4.8) could be reworded to avoid confusion (this happened at the plugfest) The description currently states "One past the largest DataSN in an input data PDU..." Could be restated as "The number of read PDUs which were sent.." I wonder if the field name in SCSI response could also be changed to "numDataSN" (old=expDataSN) and "numR2TSN" (old=expR2TSN) to signify this. thanks, -Sandeep
