[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: iSCSI: Implicit Termination of Tasksthere are no ordering issues in case d. The termination is "brutal" - the whole session disappear. In the other cases some ordering side effects must be considered. Julo
There are two sections titled Implicit Termination of Tasks but they are slightly different. Which is correct? Section 6.5 lists 4 items but section 10.14.5 only lists two. If 6.5 is correct, why is item D not included in the unit attention? SAM-3 says: 5.7.2 When a SCSI initiator port aborts its own tasks When a SCSI initiator port causes its own task(s) to be aborted, no notification that the task(s) have been aborted shall be returned to the SCSI initiator port other than the completion response for the command or task management function action that caused the task(s) to be aborted and notification(s) associated with related effects of the action (e.g., a reset unit attention condition).
