I agree. The ACA issue may be important, but it's not the point here. Targets should report everything they can using transport-independent mechanisms. The task is a class-driver <-> LUN exchange, and status should return in the same layer. In other words, if you had a storage array that reported errors in some way on ||SCSI and FCP, it will (want to) do the same on iSCSI. Steph
