Regarding the following request:

I guess people can make that request, as not every mail reader copes
well with HTML, but I don't think it's appropriate to ban it from this
list - it's been used without major issue here for a while.  It would
be a courtesy for people to set their mailers to default to plain text
(e.g., mine is set that way, hence this message), but I see no cause
to ban or actively discourage it on this list.  OTOH, don't even think
about sending Rich Text Format email to this list.
